The theory: drop 1000 eggs and release a bunch of kids and they will gather all of those eggs for you. I thought this would be good practice for Lilly for Sunday morning at home. There were coloring activities, sticker activities, face painting, and other games to play while volunteers hid all these eggs. Here is Lilly going toward them.
And she picked up a lot of them. However, she only kept 5. She gave some to me to put in her basket and others she just tossed aside for someone else. One toddler's trash - another toddler's treasure.
Kristin had vendors from Southern Living, 31 Gifts, Silpada, and Pampered Chef. This would normally be right up my alley. Fortunately, Lilly kept me distracted, thus saving us money - she's so thrifty! My goal was to keep her away from the jewelry because I knew it would be a favorite of hers. Thankfully, Cole's toy box was close by. She just helps herself to his things now.
