Look what I made for Lilly! Yes, I actually bought a pattern (I tweaked it a little), some fabric and buttons. I cut it out and made pleats and added ruffles to the pants. And I didn't stop there... no. I also made a pair of shorts which I still need to finish the accent and a basic t-shirt that I found at Target (where else?) to embellish. So exciting. A huge thank you to my friend, Susie for teaching me how to sew and for doing my button holes! I sure hope she likes it. I hope it fits....

Bunny Trails
Easter is right around the corner. Just a few hours away actually! This year, I decided to be brave and dye eggs.
She wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but she was careful.
And whenever anything spilled, she cleaned it up immediately. She intentionally caused most of the spillage so she could clean.
While doing all this, a pretty good storm came through. She watched it pretty intently while her eggs sat in the dye.

Here are her finished eggs!
My Little Baker
Lilly baked her first cake! Ok - well she poured things into the mixing bowl and sprinkled some almonds, but look at how beautiful it is? I'm sure it will taste yummy.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear
We put Lilly into her bed every night. She wants her head at the same end of the bed. Her stuffed animals line the side of her mattress in the exact same way every night. Sometimes she puts a blanket over the stuffed animals' feet to keep them warm. What really confuses me though is why we keep finding her in her rocking chair or on the floor.

Christmas Cards
So I've been making home made Christmas cards since 2008. Last year, I got down to the wire worried that I would not get them done in time. So this year, I started early.

And Lilly wanted to help. She loves to help!
In fact, she dry embossed several pieces.
Who said 2 year olds have a short attention span? She did great.
And cheap labor! A few bunny marshmallows was all she needed.
