Grandchildren...

I remember thinking how lucky Britanie and TJ were to have their Nana. I called their Nana, Mom. And although they looked like the same person - they were nothing alike. We all said we would have loved to have been raised by Nana. Mom loved being a grandmother and Britanie and TJ really had so much fun with her. Apparently, this happens to all parents. I wasn't there to personally experience the stories I've heard about the Church kids growing up, but really - listen to these retired beach combers skyping with Lilly. Who'da thunk?

O Brooke, Where Art Thou?

Brooke has been in Branson since Thursday evening with her family. And Lilly has missed her.

I told her several times today that Brooke was not hiding from her. She is simply not home.

So after her initial investigation proved I was in fact correct, she took a seat. On Brooke's door step.

After a few minutes in the shade, she decided to come down to the sunny walkway. She attempted to lay down. I guess the helmet was uncomfortable, because she popped up and said "That's not right. That's not right."

Yes, Lilly. Laying down while you wait on Brooke to come home is definitely not right.

Let's Go Fly a Kite

I was so nervous about this idea... I was certain the wind would not be strong enough or last long enough. Or that we'd lose it in a tree. Oh, you name it, I worried about it!

But she was a rock star and Mother Nature was pretty great herself!

She held on to it just like I showed her.

And I think she got it pretty quickly.

I was putting her to bed tonight and while we rocked, she just talked about her kite.

Lilly Crocker

Lilly really loves to help in the kitchen so I got her an adorable apron.

She's also quite demanding in the kitchen. Bake. Bake. Bake. Over and over. I can only take so much. Which also means these are the only pictures I got to take.

Too Tight!

Lilly saw her snow suit from last year on the table. It is a 12-18 month and too small for her to wear. She insisted on trying it on anyway. Over her pajamas. She laid down on the floor so I could zip it and button it. I pulled her up to sitting. With a struggled voice, she proclaims, "too tight, too tight." It was so cute.

Guess Who?

Dressed Lilly this morning?

I'll give you two guesses!

On one hand, I am very proud of her.

On the other hand, I'm extremely scared.

Oh Happy Day...

When Lilly swings. Oh, you can sing the rest. She loves the swings!

World's Best Babysitter

My friend, Denise did me a huge favor the other day and watched Lilly for me for a few hours.

And this all seemed really innocent and sweet at first.

I'm guessing Lilly did quite a bit of flying in those few hours.
