Clarification

Ernie asked me to clarify he has pink eye (in both eyes) and he is sick. I'd like to clarify that up until a few days ago and after a visit with his doctor, Ernie insisted is was just a cold. A "cold" that required antibiotics. I'd also like to clarify this clarification will not make him feel any better.

Well I went back to work this week. It was good to get back into the real world; I missed Lilly more than I thought I would. My boss probably had a pool of how long it would take for me to be late... it happened today. Ernie is sick and apparantly it is pink eye and he may have to go in for some quality time with his doctor tomorrow. Guess who may be late again! Here are some new photos of Lilly

So long, Dear Friend

We had to say goodbye to a great friend, but more importantly, a member of our family. We will miss Hunter very much. Attaching a recent photo of him after playing in the snow.

Suicidal Tendencies

I know we are new to this parenting thing and we still have much to learn, but I think she may be a little bit of a drama queen. She has also buried her head in our shirts as we burp her and has become an escape artist from other swaddling efforts. We can't be that bad, can we?

She sleeps - sometimes....

She really is cute and sweet; sometimes she is actually peaceful (ie, not crying). here is proof!

our new house

We should be closing on the house later this month. Here is a picture of the outside. The hardwood floors and ceramic tiles have been laid and the kitchen cabinets installed. Carpet should be installed soon and the front porch and back patio still need to be poured. Trim on the house still needs to be painted also. The light fixtures have all arrived and are in the garage waiting to be hung!

She's 12 pounds already. Tomorrow she is going on her first Girl's Day Out. We are meeting Claire who was born 12/12 at the mall!

ok - so we have a website for our little bundle, but no time to really learn how to use it effectively or to devote to designing it with my cousin who lives in Little Rock so hopefully this will help all of Lilly's relatives stay connected. I apologize for taking so long getting this going because even I can't believe how much she's grown! here's proof! this is her 11/25/2008 less than 24 hours old.
