Mowing Fun

So I was in the kitchen making dinner the other day and I heard Lilly laughing in the front room. I figured laughing is always better than crying so continued on my way.... But she would stop laughing and then start again. After the third time, I went to investigate....

who knew mowing grass could be so entertaining?

Ernie had to work so Lilly and I went to Mastodon State Park down the road to hang out and play. Here is our self-portrait.

And here is her leading the way!

We went to the playground and I saw a butterfly. I said "Look Lilly, a butterfly" and that brave little guy flew right over to her and landed on her nose! I told her not to move....

so that the butterfly would not get hurt... so here she is possibly apologizing to it....

I moved it to a safer place for it to have it's last few minutes away from any other toddler trauma. Pretty sure she isn't ready to go to the butterfly house yet.

Yep, I'm one of them. Love that show! And Lilly seems to like it also. And as much as Ernie doth protest, the proof is in the pudding! Embarrassment to Ernie aside, I have to give him credit. Before I got the camera out - he had Lilly dancing with him! It was adorable and all of you would have said "Aawww - how sweet is Ernie?!" and now you are all laughing out loud....
